45 ~ The Order of Killing

Cassandra POV

Taking slow steps I entered the region of Dragane. A few soldiers on the border noticed us and blew a shell trumpet creating a loud sound.

My heart was beating so loud that I could even hear my heartbeats in my ear and feeling sweaty. I was nervous as a single mistake would lead to lives of three followed by the end of a Kingdom.

"Cassandra, now you have to play along,"

Lucas said and held my wrist tightly.

"Call your King Dragane,"

Lucas yelled to the soldiers on boundary and they jumped from the trees stopping our way.

They looked so strange as their faces were inked and wearing different kind of clothes. I thinned my eyebrows doubting if they were really living human beings or just the trained zombies.

They created a different sound as if talking in their own language and encircled us.

Few of them started pushing us forward to make us walk. Lucas and Drake held my hand showing that they had captivated me and brought me to handover to Dragane.
