Twenty One

OLIVIA'S POV.

The sound of tires screeching through the road woke me up from the peaceful sleep I was having. The jostling of the car alerted me to the fact that we were on the road; I and whoever was driving. My head hurt and the smell of the fumes from the vehicle made me feel nauseated and I covered my mouth in fear that I might lose my breakfast or lunch or whichever it was I had before those people had abducted me.

Remembering that little fact made me open my eyes so fast, my eyes teared up from the effect. I looked around at the interior part of the vehicle I was in and I saw that it was a battered pickup van that looked like it was better situated to be at the scrap home for metals and cars.

When the vehicle hit another bump, I began to panic. Who were those people that were in the vehicle with me? I thought to myself. Even though I was hearing voices, I couldn't place a face on them since those people were at the front of the car and there was something like a shield preventin
