Chapter 12

Hearing that, Rose gulped hard in fear.

She slowly walked up to the bed and began putting a wall of pillows in between her and Zander before laying down, facing the opposite side. She dozed off but she was semi-awake when Zander began to remove the pillows between them, pulled her into his arms and rolled them so that he now laid closer to the door while she was surrounded by him semi on top of her.

Through her sleepy state, she managed to mumble out a few words.

"I should have known."

she felt his chest move up in down from silent chuckles. she wasn't too sure but she felt him skim his nose over her face before setting his head above mine on the pillow, resting his chin on her.

"Indeed. What's mine belongs in my arms. And you, my sweet Rose belong to this Alpha King,"

The next day, Rose was dressing up when she heard constant knocking on the door. She was surprised to not see Ava but a male with brown hair, green eyes, and tall, broad shoulders with a smug look on his face.
