Protecting the alliance and figuring out how we may live peacefully with humans need to be our highest priorities."

Davien exhaled deeply as he contemplated something, furrowing his forehead. "All I can say is, I really wish there was another way. I really wish that we could find a way to bridge the gap between our worlds without all of this secrecy and the potential for conflict.

Fabian responded empathically, "I understand," demonstrating his comprehension. However, there are occasions when transformation requires patience. If we can demonstrate to human beings that we do not pose a threat, then perhaps one day they will look at us in a new light.
