Alora’s Pov:

When I woke up the next morning, the first thing that caught my eyes was the soft glint of fabric on the couch. A dress, deep wine red, silky, elegant, the kind of thing that didn’t belong in the quiet, empty rhythm of my life lately. I sat up slowly, my head still heavy from the tangle of thoughts and nightmares that always clung to me when morning came.

I rubbed my eyes, blinking at the dress. For a moment, I thought I was dreaming again. Then I heard the sound of running water stop, the door to the bathroom opened, and Arnold stepped out, steam curling around him. He looked fresh, his hair slightly damp, his shirt half-buttoned.

He smiled when he saw me staring at the dress. “You’re awake,” he said softly, his voice a low hum that always carried a strange kind of calm with it.

I looked up at him, pointing at the dress. “What’s that for?”

He walked closer, the faint smell of his soap mixing with the clean scent of morning air. “Dinner,” he said simply. “We’re going for

Alora’s pov:I had thought about it all afternoon.Every minute since Arnold told me that Elara was alive, I couldn’t stop thinking about her. My chest was tight with confusion and anger. I didn’t know what I was supposed to feel. Part of me wanted to see her, to ask her why, how. Another part of me wanted to pretend she was still gone, so I wouldn’t have to face everything she took from me.But by evening, I knew I couldn’t hide anymore.Arnold stepped into the room quietly, his eyes landing on me sitting by the bed. I stood up slowly and faced him.“I’m ready,” I said. His brows furrowed a little. “Ready? Ready to do what?”I took a deep breath, trying to keep my voice steady. “I’m ready to see her. I want to meet Elara.”He was silent for a moment, studying me. “Are you sure?”“Yes,” I said. “I’ve thought about it all day. I need to see her. I need to know why.”Arnold hesitated, but then he nodded. “Alright. Come with me.”The walk down the hall felt endless. Every step echoed lik

The night was soft, wrapped in the hush of distant music and the faint glow of candles. The celebration had ended hours ago, the cheers fading into the quiet hum of the night. Yet I couldn’t sleep. My heart was too full heavy and light all at once, tangled in a storm of feelings I couldn’t quite name.Arnold and I had returned to his quarters after the ceremony. The corridors were empty now, the air carrying the sweet scent of flowers and wine. I stood by the window, the moon spilling its silver light over the floor, and tried to calm the rhythm of my heartbeat. Then I heard him.His steps were steady, familiar, that same calm, powerful walk that always filled a room before he even spoke. I turned, and there he was.Arnold leaned against the doorway for a moment, his jacket gone, the first few buttons of his shirt undone. His eyes found me instantly, soft and searching. He stepped closer, his eyes never leaving mine. “Too much?”I nodded. “It feels like a dream. Like I’ll wake up and

The morning sun spilled through the curtains like gold, soft and warm, touching every corner of the room where I sat. The air was filled with the faint scent of roses and powder, the smell of a thousand dreams coming true at once. I stared at my reflection in the mirror as the girls fluttered around me, brushes and pins in their hands, their voices buzzing with excitement.“Hold still, Luna,” one of them said with a grin, teasing.I laughed nervously. “Don’t call me that yet. It still feels… unreal.”Another girl, with her hair tied up in a neat bun, stepped closer to fix the last few strands falling from my curls. “Unreal or not, you’re glowing. Alpha Arnold won’t be able to take his eyes off you.”I blushed and looked down at my hands. My fingers trembled slightly. “I can’t believe this is happening,” I whispered. “Me… Luna of Blue Moon Pack.”“Believe it,” the first girl said, placing the finishing touch, a silver pin shaped like a crescent moon into my hair. “You deserve this.”Th

Alora’s POV:Arnold’s hand was warm on my arm as we walked down the long hall beneath the pack house. My heart was already pounding because I knew where this hallway led.“I already saw Tamlin,” I said. “I don’t want to see him again, Arnold. I don’t want to go anywhere near him.”He glanced down at me, in the dim light. “We’re not going to see Tamlin,” he said simply.I frowned. “Then where are we going?”“You’ll see.”My steps slowed. “I don’t like surprises. Not after everything.”“I know,” he said softly. “But this one… you need to see for yourself.”We stopped in front of a heavy door at the very end of the corridor. It was nothing special, gray metal, a single lock. But the moment we stopped, a scent hit me. A scent I hadn’t smelled in months. My stomach turned. I grabbed Arnold’s sleeve. “Why does it smell like that?” I whispered. He didn’t answer. He just opened the door. The room beyond was small, dim, empty except for a single heavy chair in the far corner. There was a secon

Mary paced back and forth in the living room, her mind heavy with worry. Her son Richard sat on the couch, his face etched with a mixture of exhaustion and sadness. The atmosphere in the room was tense, the weight of an impending decision hanging in the air. "Richard, I've been thinking about this for a while now," Mary finally spoke up, her voice laced with concern. "I think it might be best if you consider divorcing Elaine." Richard's eyes widened in disbelief. "What? Divorce? Mom, how can you say that? Elaine is my wife.” Mary sighed, taking a seat beside him. "I know, Richard. I understand that she is your wife but she has cancer. it's a serious matter. It's going to be a long and challenging road for both of you. Divorce might be the best option for her, for her sake." she said trying to twist her words into his mind. Richard's face twisted with a mix of anger and disbelief. "Are you seriously suggesting that I leave her when she needs me the most? I thought you,
