“Good morning, Miss Amy!” That was the first voice I heard the moment I turned around. The light from the west window was shining into my eyes, and I could only close my eyes again.

“Is it too bright?” She asked, the voice asked, and I nodded before sitting up and finally opening my eyes.

It was a beautiful young fair maiden who was standing by my bedside like a loyal lamb! She was looking so innocent, and I could only admire her smile.

Even a maid in this castle lived a better life than I did in the Darksun pack. All my life, they had made me believe that the world of the Lycan was far worse than that of the werewolves.

Not only are they half monsters, but they are also subjected to harsh life, but this is the exact opposite.

Yes, they can transform at any time, but that doesn't mean they don't live a perfect life too. They are not human! They have accepted, unlike we werewolves, who are hypocritical.

“My name is Annabelle; you can call me Anna or Belle!” She said cheerfully, like a child who was promised an outing.

“I will be your personal maid as of now; I was chosen by the butler and assessed by the king himself, and he thinks I am perfect,” she said, and I was surprised.

I will be having a personal maid when I am yet to be the queen. Whoa!

I didn't see this exclusive treatment coming so soon.

“Please tell me your likes and dislikes, and if you don't like my services at any point, I will be happy if you can correct me!” She said, and I nodded.

“Okay!” I said, and she smiled.

“The king has instructed me to accompany you to the mall today to pick any outfit of your choice, and he said I should hand over this card to you!” She said and handed over the card to me.

I looked at the card, and even though I am not used to this type of life, I can tell this card must be holding a whole lot of money in it.

It is a black card with a golden tip. It looks like the side of the card was dipped in gold for a few minutes after it was made.

I could not help but stare at the card and wonder how I turned out so lucky. I lost hope already in the dungeon, and that was where Lucky found me.

“He said you should back off when shopping and think of his face when you want to hold back. The ceremony is tomorrow, so we have to organize everything!” She said it, and I was taken aback.

I didn't even remember that I would be making preparations for my wedding, or should I say my flash marriage, as he claims that we will be having an elaborate wedding after everything is done!

He had spoken about it before I slept, and just like that, he is making the plans already. I am utterly speechless after all.

“He…” I said, not knowing what to even say.

“He said the stylist for your hair and total makeup will be here at night to get the things done before tomorrow.” She continued, and I looked up at her face.

“He said he knows you will be stressed, but you should please endure for his sake. He would have also loved to accompany you, but he is trying to set things up at his end as well!” She concluded, and I was surprised.

Not only is he considerate, but he is also showing care when he is not even here. What can I say except that he is the best man ever?

I don't know what I did to the goddess to deserve this, but I will never let go of this for anything in the world.

“And where is he?” I asked, and she shook her head.

“I don't know!” She replied to me. I immediately got out of bed.

“I will just go and look for him then!” I replied, and she smiled but blocked the way.

“I think that will be a bad idea; the time is fast spent, as I didn't want to wake you up, but if you want to meet up with everything listed, you will need to get ready and be on the way to the mall now!” She said it, and I thought about it.

I will see him later and just thank him then!” I thought and walked towards the bathroom. I placed the card in my hand on the vanity table before stepping into the bathroom and washing up.

It was a refreshing bath, and I can't help but be grateful for everything. I was never allowed to even use such a luxurious shower, as I have to head to the stream to get water for a bath, and it resulted in me bathing at the stream on most occasions.

I got out of the shower and went straight to the dressing room. I have finally known my way around, but having Anna was more helpful.

She had picked out everything I was going to wear even though they were a little too much for just shopping.

“Don't you think this is too much for the occasion?” I asked her, and she smiled.

“You are stepping out of the castle; everything you do is a reflection of the king. I don't just want us to embarrass him, my lady!” She said as we looked at our reflections in the mirror.

“And who says she is going to embarrass me?” A voice said behind us, causing us to jolt, and I was surprised to see Charles walking in with his hands in his pockets.

My face immediately brightened up as he walked towards me, and he hugged me immediately.

“Good morning, beautiful!” He said that, and I blushed so hard while trying to hide my face in his chest.

“Good morning!” I replied!
