She looked shocked hearing me tell her that Reed is in love with her and wants to marry her.

“He almost convinced me into giving him a maid. I was not going to hold him ransom for asking for a maid.” I explained to Amy her doubts.

“He claimed he is in love with the maid, and the maid loves him too. I was shocked, but I agreed. We called the butler and realized it was you.” I added, and she paid attention to me even more.

“I told him you weren't a maid, and he still wants to leave with you and claims he loves you and wants you.”

“I asked him to pursue you as a man, and if he wins your heart, he can go with you!” I replied, and she looked at me with a confused face.

“Did you bet with me?” She asked.

“No, not at all. Reed is a very smart and intelligent man. If I had rushed to tell him that you weren't just an ordinary lady and a friend, you were my mate. “ He would have known that the plan was spoiled and I would not be able to know his plan with others.”

“That is just the thing! I didn't bet on him using you!” I replied, as she didn't look convinced at all.

“He wants to use you as his plan B, lie that he is in love with you, and stay in the castle to pursue you, but that will never be the case because you are mine.

“Not only are you my mate, but you are the woman I cherish, and in just a few days that I have known you, I want you even more!” I tried to smooth things over between us so as not to make her angry.

“Your brother is a psychopath, and take this from me: your family not only brought your rival your way, they brought the worst enemy of the century for you!”

“I feel so sorry for you!” she added, and I smiled.

“But every psychopath can be defeated, and he is my enemy, and he will be defeated,” I assured her, and she smiled.

“So when will the ceremony be?” She asked me, and I looked at her, seeing she was serious; I found it adorable.

Not only does she not mind that I am going back on my words, but she also found it as a win against my enemy; she is hell-bent on helping me against that son of a monster!

She is a very supportive one, and I don't know what I did in my past life to deserve a very considerate woman like her.

“You don't mind at all!” I asked for the last time, and she smiled and held my hand.

“I am more than willing to get married to you and help you out as your Luna. Sooner or later I will be the woman in your arms, so why not accept now and make everything go faster than usual?” She said,

“I want to get married to you and perform my duty as your woman. I want to fall in love with you, not just your name or your throne; I want to marry Charles Lavista, not just his title!” She replied,

“I might not have known you enough because we met a few days ago, but I have seen a glimpse of your thoughts and your actions, " she said and sighed.

She played with my hand and touched every scar on it like she was playing with a toy.

Her touch was so light, like she was handling a child!

“You are the man who didn't care that I was a prisoner in another clan but accepted me as your mate,” she said and sighed.

I understand the fact that she might have felt so insecure about the situation with my past mate.

She was humiliated and disrespected every time, but I won't allow that to be the case with me! She is my woman!

“You fought with my calm alpha to have me brought here. You not only treat me with care and love as a woman, but you also respect me,” she added.

“You were so considerate of me and wanted me to fall in love with you before we consummate the marriage. Not all men can do that, and you did! I am really appreciative of those actions, and I do not only want to remain your woman; I want to get to know you better and be the custodian of your heart,” she said and finally looked at my face.

Her words not only calm my raging heart. It gave me assurance that this love might be a flash marriage, but it is not based on crap and just the will of the moon goddess.

“Because a man like you needs to be treated with utmost care and love!” She added, and I was touched.

I never expected that one day a woman would say these words to me.

She was so gentle, and all her words were like cool rubs. I didn't know she had tears in her eyes until she looked at my face.

“Don't cry, Amy!” I said and cupped her face in my hand, gently wiping her tears like a pro. Her skin was soft regardless of the torture and torment, and I could only imagine what she would be like when she is finally at peace.

“A fairy?” I thought.

I hugged her and explained the procedure of the marriage and when it would be done. She constantly nodded, showing she was listening to everything I was saying to her about the traditions.

After a while of speaking, she cuddled up in my arms, and I could tell she was feeling sleepy already; she must have been tired!

I didn't leave her side until she was fully asleep. I laid her perfectly on the bed, removing her shoe and rubbing her legs.

They were evidence of what she had been through, and I promised right there to make sure she is safe throughout her life.
