AMY

We walked to the front of a wolf head frame door. It was built and framed with gold, and I was stunned.

Either the gold is real or fake; this will be quite expensive, as the detail of the wolf was precise and beautiful.

I was still admiring when the housekeeper spoke up.

“Miss Amy, please walk right in! The Alpha is just behind the door!” She said, and I looked at her.

Seeing his reaction, I quickly snatched my hand from his hands and hid it from him. He looked at my face with a frown before looking at my hand, which I was hiding behind me.

“Don't do that!” He said, and I didn't release my hand to him.

“They are scared I don't want to scare you off!” I said, and he smiled.

“Scare, scare! Really, Amy! You think that will scare me!” He asked, and I didn't know how to answer his sarcastic question.

He moved back from me a little and placed his hand on his chest and slowly unbuttoned it.

“What are you doing?” My voice cracked as I was trying to understand why his shirt was suddenly coming off.

He only smiled in response, and I turned away. I didn't want to have any sexual relationship yet. He might be my mate, but who knows?

He might change into a bad person later. I don't want to have myself to be blamed for this. I don't want you to regret anything later on!

“Open your eyes and look at me!” He said it gently, and I refused.

“Is your shirt back on?” I asked, and he chuckled.

“No!” He responded, and I shook my head instantly.

“I am not turning to look at you; you are naked!” I said to him, and he chuckled.

“No, I only removed my shirt; I have a singlet underneath. I want to show you something. I promise that I won't be unreasonable!” He said, and I sighed.

Hoping to trust him this time around, I opened my eyes slowly and was shocked by the frame of the man who stood before me.

I could tell he was well built, but I never knew he was so well built. He is a living deity of beauty.

“Your scars will never scare me. I have scars too, and all the scars have a story to tell the world, and all I want to know is yours.” He said it, and I was shocked.

Now I am seeing the darkness behind the beauty I was seeing earlier. His body was well built but covered with scars.
