“I woke up with the sun's warmth from the east wing, and it felt a little strange. My warmth comes from the west, but it's different this time.

“Good morning, sunshine!” Charles' voice reached my ears, and from the movement, I finally realized what was happening.

His hands were wrapped around my body like he was tending to a newborn child. He was gentle and so comforting, and I loved it.

“Good morning, Charles!” I said as my face was already turning bright red from embarrassment. He smiled as he continued to look at me and gently got out of bed.
