Thirty

Two men and a young lady were in the archive, looking through some records.

Valentino angrily threw the paper in his hand on the table. "This is useless," he said as he rubbed his eyes.

"What makes you think so?" Arthur asked him.

"This is the second year that I'm looking at and I still haven't seen a connection between the two packs," he said.

"Um, maybe that's because you aren't reading it with your usual focus," Kasa said from behind them. She had taken a table behind the other two, one that was closer to the shelves. "And by the way, how are we supposed to know when a stranger comes in here?" she asked, still not taking her eyes off the list she statement she was reading.

"I think Carl asked the desk lady to be a lookout for us," Valentino replied as he resumed the job at hand.

Arthur dropped the records he had been studying. "I'll look out for you two," he said. "That lady is not to be trusted."
