"All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast."

Sabrina and Maxi arrived at the dining room and as soon as they stepped in, all eyes were directed at them. The whole Dravos family was already seated and they were just waiting for Maxi to come, but they did not expect him to invite the human to eat breakfast with them. It was one of the strangest sight the werewolves had ever seen and it was equally as awkward for Sabrina who did not really know what was going on at the time.
It was good enough for her to not know they were werewolves because if she did, it would worsen the situation considering most of them stared at her with uncomfortable or displeased gazes, especially Cordelia who already disliked her before even meeting her.

"Have the courage to be disliked." -Bruce Lee- *** Sabrina was eventually done with the tour and she spent the rest of her time before lunch asking different kinds of questions to Judith in the library. Sabrina never had much chance to explore her love for books before, especially fiction books, sure, they had public library back in the city, but it was not that great, since the government fund for the public library was reduced, the maintenance and updates were not that great, so she found a new joy when she realized the manor had a library with updated collection. “Tell me, what is the alpha’s reputation like in the eyes of the others?” She questioned as she pulled out a book that captured her attention and took a seat to start reading as she listened to Judith’s answer. “That would greatly depend on who you ask, Sabrina. In the eyes of his family and the people who see him as leader, he is a respected and tough alp
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return."-Natalie Cole-***It had been three days since Sabrina arrived in the manor and apparently everything was not a dream. Esther had returned back to her husband and the siblings did their best to avoid any form of confrontation with her, but the mother of the house, Cordelia, had made several attempts to belittle and subtly humiliated her. It was always small things she did whether it was about the way she was dressed to her manners. She was a newcomer, how was she supposed to know which glass was used for what form of liquid. She was not raised in an aristocratic family and no one had taught her about proper fine dining type of table manners. Her entire life she had always been a pretty casual woman and truthfully, the rest of them did not care much about her way of doing things. It was just Cordelia who always made a big deal out of everything and u
"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains un-awakened."-Anatole France-***After her last meeting with Maxi, Sabrina was restless. She did not know what had gotten over her but she still remembered when their lips nearly touched before that stupid knock on the door ruined everything. It had been three days since that day and she barely saw him again afterward except for dinner and breakfast since he was becoming busy, but each time she stared at those piercing blue eyes, she could not help but recall that moment and thought she would eventually go insane. They had not even kissed yet, it was just a fleeting near kiss experience, so why couldn’t she get her mind off of it.Earlier during dinner, she could not help but catch glances of his lips while he was eating and she kept on imagining their kiss together. Sabrina did not know if it was her hormones playing her but she needed to get him
"Feeling irritated, restless, afraid and hopeless is a reminder to listen more carefully."-Pema Chodron-***Alpha Maximillian could not sleep properly for the next few nights. He kept on watching her closely during the day and increased the security around the manor so she would not be able to escape. The man had been feeling uneasy for the past few days. He was still thinking about what Sabrina said. She was planning to run away even though he had provided her with nearly everything she could ever need there and he wondered if he was doing something wrong. What else could she possibly want? The place lacked nothing in terms of comfort and service, he had always treated her well.Perhaps it was his family’s cold treatment toward her, he noticed that his mother had not been treating her well. She was acting like the evil step mother toward Sabrina and perhaps it was the reason why she did not feel at home.It

His mind wandered where his eldest daughter could be at. She was only eighteen and had a long life ahead of her, yet she had been going missing for several days.He had called the police and asked for their help to find her, however, it was all to no avail since they could not do anything. She still was not found after days of searching and they had decided to stop looking since chances of her being dead already was quite high. After all they lived in an isolated mountains filled with wolves and other dangerous wild a
"Faces that have charmed us the most escape us the soonest." -Walter Scott- *** Sabrina had come to a realization that she would never be able to escape at night, so the only time she could escape was in the afternoon several hours before lunch when most of the staff were busy. She would usually take this time to take a nap and during the nap, Judith would not be around in the same room and most of the guards were in the training ground. She thought it was extremely perfect. In the morning after Maxi left her room but before Judith entered to wake her up, she had prepared herself to escape. Since she was brought there in the middle of the night with absolutely nothing carried with her, she did not need to worry about carrying anything. However, in case she got lost, she needed to have some food and water available so she had a small bag filled with water and dry bread she could carry around for days without molding. S
"No one is free. Even the birds are chained to the sky."-Bob Dylan-***Sabrina eventually woke up from her state of unconsciousness after uncertain hours and as she was about to open her eyes, she could feel her body being restricted. She could not seem to move her feet and her arms. She thought she was dreaming until she opened up her eyes and found herself being tied up in the bed with her wrist chained to the side of the bed and her feet were chained to the end of the bed. She looked around her and found herself in the same bedroom she had when she was in the manor, however this time, she was chained instead.Fortunately, her mouth was not restricted, so she screamed and shouted as loud as she could. Soon enough, the door was opened and Judith entered the room with an apologetic expression. Sabrina saw the maid and quickly asked her to undo her chain, however, her answer was rather shocking.“I am truly s

Kennedy-***Cordelia gathered in the living room with her other children beside Maxi and she appeared to be restless. While her other children stared at their mother questioningly, Cordelia grunted and puffed as her wish for Sabrina to disappear has failed. The children still did not understand why her mother was so bothered by her presence.“Why do you hate her so much? She has never done anything wrong to you.” Beatrix reasoned but she shot her youngest daughter a sinister glare.“You do not understand, that woman is a human. She will bring misfortune to this place if she ever becomes a luna. We need to get rid of her as soon as possible.” She suggested as she bit her own fingernails. The children had never seen their mother this anxious before, it was such an alien sight co
