Fifty Six

Oma's POV.

"So what do you have for me?" I asked the moment Lucian buzzed me in. The room smelt fresh and he even looked cleaner than ever. I had managed to sneak out of the house again unnoticed the moment I got the text and the situation had never been more urgent.

"It's not good news." He replied me, he sat at his desk and I took the seat opposite his, slipping off my cloak. I glanced at the far side of the room where he had tied the young man the other day but the room was empty except for the two of eyes. He followed my eyes and smiled. "He earned his freedom." If not for the urgency, I would have loved to hear about how he freed the guy but that would be a topic for another day, for now I had to find Kyle's mate.

"Just let me hear it, any development is better than no development." I said, shifting nervously in my seat.

"What's wrong Oma? You look like something is wrong." His brows creased in worry. I sighed knowing that I could never hide anything for him.
