Yara's POV.

"Why on Earth would you do that?" I yelled at Mauris. He came over to the game room, few minutes after Kyle and Oma left and requested to talk to me in private. I followed him to his room and he narrated all that happened at the council meeting to me.

"What were you thinking?" I said, pacing the room and nervously twisting my fingers.

"Relax Yara. It's not like I had a choice." He said, tapping at the side of the bed for me to sit down. I took in a deep breath and went to sit besides him on the bed. "He was going to send you out of the house if I didn't."

"But this wasn't Kyle, your father tricked you into this. Oma said Kyle wouldn't try something like that and even Maggie said..."
