Thirty Eight

Maggie's POV.

I was upstairs in my room when I heard the gates buzz open. Mauris car sped into the house. I couldn't see the garage from my room neither could I get a glimpse of who was driving, I left my room immediately and hurried downstairs to find out how the council meeting had gone. The pack doctor, Simon hurried past me, when he recognized that I was the one he went past, he turned around and bowed his head slightly in greetings.

"Pardon me, I was lost in thought." He apologized.

"Maybe you thought I was a maid or just didn't see me." I said pouting my lips.

"How could I possibly think that a maid would be dressed so elaborately." He paused looking me over, I have always know that Simon had the hots for me but didn't want to make a move, afraid of loosing his cherished job in the house. "Please excuse, I have a patient to attend to." He said.
