Kylie's POV.

The council meeting would have been the perfect opportunity to assert my dominance and prove to everyone that I was the true leader of our pack but then Mauris, Yara and even Oma had betrayed me. It stung to know that Oma would do something like that, she had always been loyal to me no matter what.

I stepped out of the elevator, my fists clenched, and my body shaking with anger and disbelief. I couldn't believe what I had just heard and seen. Mauris, my best friend, had marked Yara, the woman I had gone through hell to find, it took me so long to get everything into place and she was soon to become my Luna. How could Mauris do this to me, his brother?

I stormed out of the building, pushing people out of my way, I ignored all the greetings and simply shoved my secretary aside when she stepped in front of me. She knew better than to follow me.
