Ronin's pov

So, I felt bad, for once again messing up names. So you get a free chapter. I'll pay more attention to it in the future. I just have a lot of stuff going on and sometimes I have trouble with names. But I hate it, just as much as you do. Or even more.

Hope you like this chapter. It's from Ronin's pov and it gives you a brief summary of why Moon was just sitting there.

Ronin’s pov

Fucking Raider Kaito Remington. I know he has gone through a lot, hell, I was here for most of it. But he is being selfish and pushing everyone away.

It shouldn’t be this hard. Angela and I finally are able to talk, now that they’ve marked each other. But even before we could talk, we loved each other. We are two half of a whole and I don’t get why humans have to make it so damn difficult all the time.

Pack politics, lies? Just kill whoever is bothering you and go live your stupid lives. Let me have my love.

Angela is amazing. She is smart, strong and one hell of a fighter. And her white fur? It’s fucking awesome. Like literally I am in awe, when I see her.

Losing my paw has been hard, but she never made me feel less. Moon didn’t either. But while Moon carries guilt, Angela doesn’t. Angela knows that I would rather live than die. She know how to make hard decisions.

Maybe it’s because she was never under the influence of Helena’s magic. But I know things weren’t easy for her. She didn’t speak to Moon for over a year and in that time she needed to heal and become stronger, to press through the barriers inside Moon’s mind.

So now I’ve taken over control of my human’s mind and I won’t give it up until he behaves like a fucking normal person.

I asked Angela why she stayed here. Why Moon stayed, without getting angry. If Angela treated me like this, there would have been one massive fight. Yeah, she’s my mate, but that doesn’t mean I want to be treated like shit.

“Moon is giving Kai time. His mother will be buried soon and then she’ll leave. She’s trying to lay low until then. Not cause any problems for the pack or Kai. I also think, she needs time herself. She’s remembering everything and she keeps dozing off. It’s too much for her head to take in, all at once. She remembered a lot already, but what she didn’t remember is now flooding her mind all at once. So I’m not sure she’s even aware of how long she has been sitting in that chair.”

“I’m sorry, Moon is going through this, but she shouldn’t be worried about laying low. Let her cause trouble.”

“I love you, Ronin.” Angela said, “but don’t worry. They’ll figure it out.”

I laughed, “don’t worry? Your human isn’t as stubborn as mine. Isn’t one to lash out. She blames herself, while Raider blames the world. Did she even eat or shower?”

I was laying on Moon’s lap, who had fallen asleep. Her head was resting on my head. She smelled lovely, but I could see she wasn’t healing and was still wearing the same dirty outfit.

Angela sighed, “she is just as stubborn. She refused to talk to any of the staff here, because they were ignoring her. I think being here, is making her doubt who she is. Mona was soft and never cursed or spoke out of turn. She was sweet and gentle. Moon isn’t gentle or soft and if Alpha Moon, the Alpha Moon I know, was here. She would raise hell.”

“Fuck that. This pack and my stupid human owe her for what she did. She is the rightful Luna of this pack, whether Raider accepts it or not. They should fucking worship the ground she walks on. She was the one that killed Norman. She was the one that lead the attack, not my bastard of a human.”

“Don’t be so angry at him, Ronin. You two need each other.” Angela said, trying to calm me down.

But before I could, Raider woke up and told me he was going to reject Moon. Fucking reject her, if I didn’t hand back the reins. He would do that?! So easily?! Goddess, I hate him and I am not talking to him or coming out until he fixes this shit. No wolf power for you, fucker. Just stay in this human body all by your fucking self.
