Knowing Moon would give birth in a few months sped up the whole house's construction. Alpha Raider even jumped in to help, and Moon sent some people from our pack to assist as well.

It also meant that once the house was done, which would be in a few weeks, Diego and I would start living together.

I looked forward to it and was anxious at the same time. I was used to having my own room, my own space, and not having to think about another person. But falling asleep next to Diego and waking up next to him every morning would be wonderful. Knowing I could snuggle in those big, hairy arms of his would be worth giving up some of my personal space.

"Moon and Raider would have no issue with giving you another room. The house is big enough." Beth, my wolf, said.

I didn’t need another room. Diego and I wouldn’t be spending most days together, so this would be just evenings, nights, and mornings. And days off.
