Chapter 7: Werewolves.

“What the hell are you talking about? Don't you dare follow me in my bedroom!” I shouted.

Hearing that from him, I almost remembered the perverted things that he did to me back then. Among the triplets, Spencer is the playboy and his words don't have a filter when it comes to perverted things! And I know what he was talking about even though he didn’t say it directly!

“I know what you're thinking, Virginia. Don’t give me that look, you're making me think things that you're thinking,” he chuckled. “My intentions here are real. I want to apologize to you, as your step brother, properly, at least.”

I rolled my eyes and smirked. “I know that’s fraud.”

He shrugged. “Then don’t believe me! I don’t want to force you. I’m not the type who forces women on me,” he winked. “If you want, you can just ask me and I’ll give whatever you want, baby.”

“F*ck off!” I yelped.

“I’m willing to do that if you’re asking me.”

Instead of giving him my precious time by getting into an argument with him, I rolled my eyes and pushed him to the side so I could go upstairs. He let me go, but instead, he followed me.

“I know what I did to you is not right, but that was years ago! I’m sure you’ve already forgotten about that, you didn't recognize us—”

“Well, actually I almost forgot about you three, unfortunately, you’re here now like fate plays with me wanting me to suffer again!” I interjected. 

“Or maybe, fate is giving us a chance to apologize to you,” he defended himself.

I shook my head and scoffed. “That’s unbelievable. Don’t try to change my mind, I will never forgive you!”

After I went inside of my bedroom, I shut the door right in front of him. I was raging in too much anger, I can’t believe he thought I forgot about what happened—well I did! And just when I thought my life is getting better because it has been six years and I just graduated from college, here they are!

To avoid thinking about my anger towards them, I decided to research on my laptop. I looked for a nearby job to submit my application. There are no jobs that were connected with my college degree, however it doesn't matter to me now. All I want is to have a job that I can go to instead of being around them.

Especially since our parents are away on their honeymoon. That was the triplets’ gift for them!

In the middle of that day while I was busy looking for a job online, Mae was calling.

“Hey, b*tch! Why the hell did you leave me? We just graduated and we should’ve been celebrating by now! Where the hell are you?” she asked, and I almost saw her rolling eyes. 

“My Mom surprised me too! The next thing I knew, she was married and wanting to move to her husband’s house. She’s unpredictable, you know that.”

“Dang! So… how was it having three handsome triplets’ step brothers?” Her voice sounds interested to them. “You’re with those goddamn handsome step brothers! Yikes! I envy you!”

“Huh! You’re jealous of me? Well surprise! These triplets are my high school bullies!” I grimaced.

“Your what? They… they were your bullies? You were bullied? Why didn’t I know?”

I sighed and rolled my eyes. “Look, I didn't tell you because I forgot about it, okay? It’s been years and I think I almost moved on. You know what? I didn't even recognize them at first! But when Mom told me they were my highschool classmates, all of the bad memories came back to me!”

“Oh God, my bad! I’m sorry I didn't know that, Ginny. But don’t you think that was a long time ago? You should forgive them, they will be your family now.”

“Forgive them? You didn’t know what hell they gave me.”

“From what I am hearing from you, your grudge towards them was too much…”

“Yeah, I don’t think I can forgive them!”

“But if you feel they were sincere with their apologies, you should. And if they do something again, make sure to tell this to your Mom. I’m one call away, alright?”

“Alright, thank you, Mae.”

After talking to Mae, I continued searching for a job that I didn’t count the hours and fell asleep. I woke up when I’m famished. 

I quickly cleaned up the mess I created on the table and then went out of the bedroom. It was already six in the evening… I shook my head, I really lost my time! Stretching out my arms, I heard something. My brow arched and roamed my eyes around.

“Ah, ah! Spencer! Ah!”

I heard a woman screaming in pain! I quickly roamed my eyes around to see where it was coming from. There I saw a door slightly open from where I stood. It was in the middle of the corridor. 

“Ah, Spencer! Faster, baby! Ahh!”

However, I stopped walking when I heard the woman groan again. From the crack of the door, I saw Spencer having sex with a woman in the bed. It was as if he was a wild boar jerking his hips on her! I gasped and quickly ran away from there but because I was nervous, I bumped into a vase. 

The vase fell off and it broke at my feet. And because of the noise I made, they heard me. Spencer stopped what he was doing and turned to me. He saw me, and I saw how his green eyes flickered to yellow and went back to it. The moment I saw that, my eyes widened like saucers. It was a deja vu, I have seen this!

I was in a hurry to run even though I knew my feet were injured. I don’t care whether it’s painful or not! I just need to run away from here!

"Virginia!" I heard Spencer call me.

But I didn't listen to him. I hurried down the stairs as I ran in fear. My body felt numb, I was trembling.

I'm sure of one thing, he's not human! Because if he was, why did his eyes flicker like that? The cold slowly enveloped my body. Until I went out through the door. Just when I thought I could escape... I'm mistaken.

Because the moment my feet stepped out of  the mansion, I saw some werewolves crawling on the roof! My heart was pounding so fast as fear was eating me up.

"W-what the hell?!" I grimaced.

My whole body was shaking in fear. I just remembered everything, all about these triplets. I remembered the reason why I was so afraid of them!

"Ginny!" I heard Drake's worried voice from behind me.

Then I saw the full moon as tears pooled my eyes.

My step brothers... they were... werewolves!
