I raked my fingers through my hair as I yawned while watching the footage yesterday when some of the pack warriors caught a vampire. Shaking my head, I saw how the other bats flew away despite the fact that the sun was still shining bright and hot. Tomorrow, I will visit the witch-werewolf community in our pack to find out if there’s someone among them betraying us.

As I was busy scrolling through the laptop to find more details, my phone rang. It was inside the drawer so I opened it and took out my phone to answer. It’s Spencer.

Why did he call this time? He should’ve rested tonight since he had no time resting for the rest of the week.

“Hello, Spencer?” I answered.

“Drake, what are you doing now?” he asked.

His voice sounds odd. It seemed like he cried. Spencer isn’t the type who’ll cry over something.
