Luna Cynthia stood up from her chair and rushed to hug the woman who had just entered the dining room with a big smile. She had an attractive appearance with sharp features.

"Asia, I didn't know you were coming!" So, Asia was her name.

“Surprise!”

She smiled warmly and looked at Zylon. My mate remained rigid, his eyes void of emotion as he held her gaze. Suddenly, I felt protective of Zylon. I reached over the table and covered his hand with mine. That seemed to do the trick; his eyes immediately softened, and a slight smile appeared on his perfect, god-like face. Asia noticed my actions and furrowed her eyebrows in surprise before turning her attention to Hayes.

"Hello, nephews," she greeted, but no one answered her. The Luna cleared her throat, and the alpha twins both nodded at Asia rigidly.

She turned her gaze to me. "Hi, and you are?"

"Rue," I replied.

Luna Cynthia smiled sweetly. "That's Ruby Rue Rothwell, and you know her. She's mated to Hayes and Zylon," she explained. Recognit

  • The Alpha Twins; My Mates   Pub

"Wrong number," the voice said softly before hanging up. I watched my phone for a while, hearing Beth ask if I was alright. I just nodded. Wrong number.Ael and Joe showed up to pick me up at 5:30 PM. "YOU LOOK HOT, GIRLS!" Joe shouted. We did a quick twirl for them.Ael looked effortlessly charming in a snug white t-shirt that highlighted his toned muscles and slacks. His recent buzz cut gave him a fresh appearance. Joe opted for an all-black sleek ensemble. His sandy blonde hair was styled neatly. "You cut your hair, Ael. You look even more handsome," I said as we entered the car."Just trying something new," Ael grinned."I love it," Beth added. As I fastened my seatbelt, I said, "You look great." He started driving from the driveway to the main road. I hoped Hayes and Zylon would show up at the venue.Connect was located just on the outskirts of the pack. The outdoor classy pub was alive with energy. After we received our colorful stamps, we went through a wooden gate and found

  • The Alpha Twins; My Mates   Staying For Good

I tried calling Henry back, but his phone was off. I will try to call again tomorrow, I thought. I felt a wave of fatigue wash over me. I quickly showered and then succumbed to a long, much-needed nap. When I finally stirred awake, it was already thirty minutes past four. I went straight to the kitchen.Granny was already bustling about, her apron tied neatly around her waist as she prepared for dinner. The rich aroma of herbs filled the air, instantly making my stomach rumble. "Can I help?" I asked, my voice filled with enthusiasm as I stepped into the warm kitchen. She turned to me, eyebrows raised in a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "You want to help?" she asked slowly, gauging me.I nodded eagerly, and a grin spread across my face. Cooking had always been a bit of a mystery to me. Despite my enthusiastic attempts, I had never quite mastered the art. "Okay, start peeling the potatoes," she ordered. I rushed to do that. I struggled with the peeler. Grandma watched me intently,

  • The Alpha Twins; My Mates   Office Argument

My heart raced as he stood up from behind his imposing desk and began to saunter toward me, each step deliberate and confident. He wore a crisp white button-down shirt, several buttons undone at the collar, which gave him a relaxed yet polished air. His tailored black pants hugged him in all the right places—no blazer, no tie, just an effortless style that exuded both professionalism and allure. His jet-black hair appeared effortlessly tousled. He closed the distance between us, my throat tightened, and I swallowed hard. He smiled, a mix of mischief and confidence. The intensity of his gaze made it hard to think clearly.Slowly, he lifted his hands to rest just above my waist. As if he was testing my response to touch. The warmth of his hands sent a jolt of electricity through me. I wanted to turn away, to escape the pull of the moment, but my feet felt anchored to the ground, held in place by an invisible force."I'm sorry about last night, about what Asia said," he said softly. "W

  • The Alpha Twins; My Mates   Pack Run

The next morning was the day of the pack run, and Tate and Hayes were leading it. Everyone had shifted into their wolf form except for me. Tate pulled me aside as soon as I arrived, telling me not to shift. The advisory council was in the pack once again, and it seemed they weren't ready to reveal that I was a warrior wolf like my dad.Pack runs were usually the best part of living in a pack. It was mandatory for all youths to attend. I ran in my human form, and to my surprise, I saw Asia fall in line beside me."Good morning," she beamed, wearing a matching set of black sports shorts and a bra, the same brand I was wearing. "Morning," I replied. She went on to apologize for the comments she made the night before and expressed how bad she felt when I left. She even mentioned feeling guilty when the boys scolded her about her behavior. "It's okay," I murmured, not wanting to engage with her any longer. We fell into a quiet rhythm for a while until she started asking me questions about

  • The Alpha Twins; My Mates   Dinner

Manon stood a few feet away from us, her eyes locked onto Jay, her lips and body trembling slightly. I glanced at Jay, was focused on Manon. It seemed he recognized her. He abruptly stood up, signaled for his friend to do the same, and turned on his heel, exiting the café through a different door. Manon looked like she might break down at any moment. I quickly rushed over to her and gently held her arm."Manon, is Jay your mate?" I asked. She drew her attention back to me and nodded slowly."That's his name?""Yes, Jason."I was confused. How did Jay know she was his mate? He had been avoiding her for the past week. Human mates were extremely rare, so we didn't know much about how it worked. I guided Manon to our booth, and her shoulders shook as she sobbed silently."He doesn't want me, does he?" her voice barely above a whisper.Beth and I exchanged glances, unsure how to comfort her. In that moment, we could only hug her. "I want to see him," she said.I pulled out my Blackberry a
