Caelum’s POV

Nyra glared at me and If it were a lesser man, he would have ran with his tail between his legs but I wasn’t a lesser man.

The morning sun had fully risen by the time we left the kitchen. The pack was alive with activity now. Warriors were training and children were running through the pathways.

Patrols were leaving through the gates, it was a normal morning at least on the surface.

I glanced at Nyra as we walked.

No one looking at her would guess what I’d discovered yesterday.
