Chapter 73

My head throbbed so badly as I slowly regained consciousness. The dim light filtering through the cracked windows of the old, run-down hut intensified the pain in my lower stomach. I groaned, attempting to sit up. The last thing I remembered was being attacked by a pack of werewolves near the borders of The Blue Moon Pack territory.

"Ah, you're awake," a voice called out, cutting through the haze of my thoughts. I turned my head to see Rona, she stood at the entrance with a calm expression on her face. She had fiery red hair, as she stood near a makeshift stove. She was stirring a pot that emitted a tantalizing aroma, pulling me further out of my daze.

"What happened? Where am I?" I croaked, my voice barely audible. Rona turned to face me, a soft smile playing on her lips.

"You were attacked by werewolves near the Blue Moon Pack's territory. I found you barely conscious and brought you here to my safe hideout," she replied, her eyes filled with concern. "You've been out for q
