Chapter 36: Using the mate bond as a remedy
Blaze swiftly caught Lilith as she fainted right into his arms.
“Lilith?” Blaze shook her unconscious body.
He panicked when she simply lay still and unmoving.
“Lilith,” Blaze spoke quickly through his breaths, cupping her face in his hands.
No response, not even a single muscle of hers reacted.
Her body was completely limp, her breaths quiet yet quicker than normal.
Anger began to slowly surface as he closely observed her condition.
“Dammit Lilith, open your eyes!” Blaze partially begged.
No! He needed to control his anger. This wasn’t a time to get angry.
“Katherine!” Blaze called out alarmingly.
Noting the agitation in Blaze’s voice, Katherine was there within seconds.
