Chapter 48: Rogues
“I know you’re hiding behind those trees. Come out!” Blaze egged them to come out from their hiding spots.
Lilith turned her head to look in every direction.
She didn’t know from where they would appear.
Loosening her hold around Blaze, she moved to step back on her feet. But, Blaze wouldn’t let her.
His arms hardened around her back. He adjusted his hold on her butt to stop her from pulling away.
Lilith breathed out slowly when she noticed the faraway look on his face.
He was focusing on the danger looming around them.
Her breath hitched when she felt his fingernails elongating into claws. The sharpness of them brushing against her back and butt cheek.
With some struggling, she managed to stand on her feet all while Blaze maintained that tight grip around her.
Well, she wasn’t looking forward to having her butt punctured by those claws.
