Chapter 52: You're all I need, Lilith

There was no hesitation in Blaze. The second he reached his bedroom door he nearly threw it open, eyes ready to find Lilith in his bed like she had said.

But, he caught her first just a few feet from the door, his appearance causing her to freeze midstep.

Lilith's eyes widened as they caught sight of Blaze, her arms were crossed tightly across her chest as if she was holding herself.

Blaze felt uncertainty rolling off of her with her heartbeat being just slightly faster than usual.
