8: CASPER

Letitia closed her eyes intently before attempting to open them. She looked around and found herself lying on the couch in Arther's office. She blushed as she remembered what had happened the night before. She also examines her body, which is completely naked!

"This is the first time I did this!" she exclaimed, covering her head with a blanket that had been placed in her body. Someone knocked on the door, which startled and worried her. It could be someone she doesn't know or Beta Scott; it will be extremely embarrassing!

"Miss, it's me, Noelle." Noelle's voice startled Letitia. She began to sob because she missed her soft voice so much. "Can I come in, Miss?" she asked

"Y-yes, please do!" Letitia replied, prompting Noelle to smile and quickly open the door. She then approached Letitia but was surprised when Letitia hugged her tightly, causing the blanket to fall and revealing her body to Noelle. Her eyes widened at what Letitia did, and she quickly closed them.

"I miss you, Noelle!" Letitia cried, hugging her even tighter.

"M-my lady, please dress first!" Noelle exclaimed, causing Letitia to stop and her cheeks to flush.

After what had occurred, Noelle explained everything. She was really kicked out as her personal maid, but Beta Scott came to their house and asked her to return. After returning to the mansion, Arther quickly instructed her to give Letitia clothes to wear and informed her that he would be gone for the day because the King desired the Alpha's company.

Letitia has mixed feelings after hearing that. She was embarrassed when Alpha Arther told Noelle to get dressed, implying that she was already naked, and she began to sulk when she learned that he would be leaving the mansion for the day.

"But, don't worry! Alpha Arther left you a guard to protect you, and Beta Patch is also here! He will be the one to manage the mansion for a while, so if you ever need anything, you can come to him and give your orders!" Noelle exclaimed, looking at Letitia fixing her hair in the mirror. Staring intently at her reflection.

"What's the name of the knight?" she asks while brushing her hair. Noelle standing behind her looks at the ceiling thinking about something.

"I had no idea, Miss. He will be here shortly, please wait for him," Noelle said with a smile on her face. Letitia put the brush down and slowly turned to look at her then hugged her again which surprised Noelle.

"I really miss you!" she yelled again which made Noelle give her a genuine smile.

"I miss you too, miss," she replied.

After a while, a man with a large body approached and introduced himself. Letitia smiled at him, but the guard stared at her coldly before bowing his head. Except for Noelle, some of the werewolves in the pack had cold stares, which was unsurprising to Letitia. She's the only werewolf she's met who enjoys smiling and being cheerful.

After eating, Letitia decided to go to the library. She wanted to learn more about the place by reading about its history. She realizes that she may be here forever, so she should learn everything she can about werewolves.

She was reading when she heard a noise outside the library. She looked at the window, opened it, and looked down. She noticed a man cutting the bushes, but he appeared familiar to her. It was as if she saw him somewhere but couldn't recall where. She was curious about him, so she decided to go down and see what he was doing.

When she arrived, she stared at him intently. Based on his face and body structure, he appears to be younger than her. She slowly walks closer, and that's when she remembers him. He was the young lad who was beaten in an alley yesterday.

"You," the man says as he notices her presence and looks at her. He remembered her, which made Letitia pleased.

"You remember me? I didn't think you worked here," Letitia replied and smiled at her. The young man bit his lower lip and didn't reply to what she said and continued what he was doing made Letitia confused. "Hey, what is your name?" she asks once again.

This time, the young man pauses to look at her. "Casper, My Lady," he answered. Letitia gave him a warm smile. The young man appears shy and innocent in Letitia's eyes.

"I am Letitia, but you can call me Tia. It is good to see you here, Casper," she said with a smile on her face. Casper simply looked away, wanting to keep his distance from her; however, Letitia desperately wanted to be close to him. For her, Casper was like a younger brother.

"You're not a wolf, are you human?" Casper asks without looking up, continuing with his task. Letitia continues to amaze at how werewolves can detect that she is different from them.

"How did you know?" she inquires perplexingly.

"We can sense, miss. And my eyes can see the wolves' aura, yours is different. Humans have two auras in their body, it could be black and white. Yours is white, which means you are a good person while black indicates that a person is bad," he went on to explain. It amazes her that Casper had a talent like that.

"Can you tell me about the history of your race, the werewolves?" she asks, taking a seat in a nearby wooden chair. Casper looks at her, eager to hear what he has to say about the topic.

"W-well, I don't know if I had the right to tell this to you, miss. I have no position to tell, miss," Casper explained, making her pout.

"Knowledge doesn't mean you need to have a rank or position for you to share what you learn and what you know. So, please do share the things you know from me, Casper," she went on to say. Casper was debating it at first, but he eventually decided to tell.

"Elara, the Goddess of the Moon, bestowed upon us this power, miss. We are her guardian and supreme being who will serve her forever in exchange for protection from bad humans. We built a kingdom and voted for a leader to lead us, but not all werewolves are okay with it. Some of them opposed the new King, and that's where the Rogues were born. But, with the King's sword, shield, and guardian, they were able to keep the peace in the kingdom," he said, which made Letitia amazed by what she had heard.

Letitia was about to speak again when a person appeared out of nowhere, alerting Casper and leading him to where Letitia was sitting. His body was sending a signal to protect her. Letitia's eyes darkened as she noticed the man slowly approaching them.

'What is he doing here again?' she thought to herself, keeping her gaze fixed on the man who was smirking at her.

"I pay a visit to your Alpha, miss. I guess he's not here," he said, looking at Casper, who was staring at him intently. "So, you had a little pup now," he said, returning his gaze to Letitia. Before Beta Arson could approach them any further, he noticed the big man standing behind them.

"Stay away from them, Beta Arson." A voice was heard behind them, prompting the two to look back. It was Letitia's guard who was looking at Beta Arson intently.
