Elora’s POV

The last echo of the being that appeared to me still lingered in the air as it vanished into thin air. I glanced at my palm, wondering what was going on.

What the hell is happening to me?

I forced my eyes shut and took a few deep breaths. I noticed a warmth building up in my core and ignored it. When my eyes flipped open, I was shocked.

The runes on the walls around me were glowing brightly like they did when that shadow moved. They were so bright that they flared like flames.
