Lloyd's POVI watched with wide eyes as the witch trashed in the fire, screaming. Her hands and legs flared, and she struggled to crawl out of the flames. I turned back sharply to the figure who sent her flying to realize that he had disappeared. His face was familiar, but I couldn’t tell where I’d met him and how I did.The wind around us had reduced, but the ground still trembled slightly. Everyone still on their feet, scrambled for safety, running towards the area of the yard that led to the gate. My eye scanned the clearing, noting everyone on the floor, some of whom were omegas in the Alpha house.“Xavier, help the wounded,” I commanded.“Of course,” he scrambled off, and Ragnar followed him. I turned from them back to the fire, my mind still churning at the recent turn of events. My gaze landed on Zeke, who ran alongside the others, scrambling for safety, and I remembered Elora. I threw my gaze around sharply, looking for Elora’s figure, but I couldn’t find her anywhere.
