From the way the lady froze and the sudden shift of the energy in the air, we knew that something was off. There was a problem somewhere.

Something had gone wrong.

Instinctively, Xavier and I took fighting stances and waited. For a moment, nothing happened, and the young’s lady’s eyes landed on me.

“Do you hear that?” she asked.
