Elora's POV

The first thing that hit me when I woke up was the warmth wrapping around me.

The ache in my bones, the fire burning my chest, was all gone, save for a faint soreness.

Slowly, I opened my eyes.

Lloyd had his hands wrapped around me, his hand resting just below my ribs.

His breathing was deep and even, forehead resting against the back of my neck. I felt the rise and fall of his chest against my spine.

I stayed still, unmoving.

On a good day, I should shove him away.
