DAPHNE

The fear came back almost immediately. The more I kept staring around the dark room, the more my fear increased.

“Jordan! Jordan!!” I called out while trying to walk out of the room, but I couldn’t see that there was a table in front of me, so I stumbled on the table and fell hard on the ground.

I was night blind, and I was unable to see anything. The thought of the incident that led to my mother’s death flashed back into my memory. At this point, I was gasping for breath so hard. The door was already locked, and I could hear loud music being played outside the mansion. So, there was no way anyone could hear me screaming.

Did the Alpha lure me into this dark room to get locked up? Why would he do that? I know that I’m just his bought breeder, but why would he do such a cruel thing to me? Bringing me into my biggest fear, darkness? That was more than punishment for me. It felt like death itself.
