I slowly opened my eyes.

My entire body ached and I felt nauseous. I had been sleeping for a long time but it was still bright out now. Time seemed to pass really slowly here although I had no way of knowing what the actual time was.

I tried to keep hope alive, certain that Xavier wild soon barge in with a group of soldiers but I still feared that I would die before he arrived. I did not doubt his love for me or his prowess at finding out information but Roseline was apparently really evil. After all, she had held Juliet for many months now and we had still not managed to catch her. Instead, she had trapped me too.
