130. ARIEL — " Help me"

I slowly opened my eyes.

The world around me felt unfamiliar but the face hovering above mine was one I knew too well. Now even if I lost all my memory and forgot the people I once knew, I did not think I could ever forget Roseline. This type of betrayal could never be gotten over.

Roseline's eyes widened as she saw me gazing at her and we stared each other down for a while before she stepped away from my bed in shock. She glanced at the door and then the window probably contemplating whether to kill me or run away.

I opened my mouth to speak in order to stall for time but no sound came out. Was this simply a bad dream? At that moment, it seemed she decided to kill me. She moved menacingly towards my bed, syringe in hand.

I tried to sit up on bed but my body was sore all over and I could barely lift a limb. I was usually one with a speedy recovery rate but I guess there's only so much a wolf can handle. I tried to scream but no words came out.
