ALICIA'S P.O.V"Help, someone, help me!" I screamed out shaking my hands with my eyes staring towards the opened window, but it was of no use.No one could hear me, they were all busy with whatever their conversations were. "Help, somebody please…" I screamed until my voice felt faint and I had no more strength to scream.I shook my hands again and I remembered Eddie. How will my poor father be feeling? First was his wife and now me? No, I have to get out.Still struggling, I heard the sound from the large iron door opposite me as I lifted my eyes to see Caroline walk inside with two huge men. Their faces were very frightening and they didn't have a shirt on except for Caroline who was in between."Hello, Alicia," Caroline said aloud as he folded her hand with a pose and all i could do was stare at my friend while she taunted me."Why are you doing this Caroline? You have to let me return to my father. He has no one else but me. Even if I have wronged you but please consider the old m
MARCUS P.O.V I walked out of the house during sunset to receive some fresh air. Morgan was already in his self contained and Zoey and her mother, Emily were probably inside preparing dinner. I had no clue what Travis could be up to but that wasn't until I heard the door open and I turned to see him walk out with a hunter's gun around his shoulder."Hey," He said immediately he spotted me. "Is there a problem?" "No, I just needed some air," I answered, still staring at his hunters gun and when he noticed I started he asked me If I would like to go hunting with him and I agreed because it was in fact a wonderful idea and soon after we launched into the forest. It wasn't long enough before we spotted our first prey, ahead of us was an antelope hiding behind the foliage of a tree."Shh…" Travis hissed as we hid behind the stem of a tree and with his gun aimed at the target he released the bullet only to get a miss.under the sunset I could see him frown In disappointment and we forged a
MARCUS P.O.VWhy was the house thronged by police cars? It could be just a scene which broke out in someone's home or probably something else, but why was the sense that their gathering had something to do with Alicia so strong?"Excuse me sir," I said to one of the officers who just finished having a phone call as he put his cell phone into his side pocket."Yes, how may I help you?" He asked."Can I know the reason why you are all gathered here?" I asked as he twitched his eyebrows and his eyes turned pale."We have a missing girl, her name is Alicia Lindsey," He said as he took out a picture of her, lifting upwards before my face. "She is the daughter of one of our most prominent detectives, Eddie Lindsey. Have you seen her by any chance?" He asked but all I could do was stare in shock.my mind was far from his question, Alicia was truly in trouble."Sir," the policeman's voice called me off my thoughts. "Have you seen her by any chance?""No, I haven't," I answered then looked tow
ALICIA'S P.O.VI heard chattering sounds ahead of me and without doubt I knew that it was one of the werewolves trying to open up the iron door into the confined room where I was chained with one large chain hanging from an iron window to my wrist. My hands were already hurting badly from last night's chaos, I had been pulled around like a sack from place to place and might have been torn apart if not for Caroline and a few others had taken me out of their midst.I crawled backwards in fear when the door opened up and Eva walked in."Hello Alicia," She said in a taunting manner. "You were lucky that the plan didn't go through last night but no doubt tonight is an excellent night for you to be burnt in ashes. When the moon comes up my father Alpha Gath will request to bring you up and you will be killed," she said and while breathing out threats we heard a knock on the door and Jason walked in with a tray of meal as he gently placed it on the floor before me."Who asked you to bring he
MARCUS P.O.VEddie had accepted my assistance in searching for his daughter, and we had spent the day gathering clues from the pack as most people had affirmed that they had seen five youths venture into the haunted house. They concluded it to be another fun game just like the rollercoaster however Eddie and I knew that something more than a game took place inside. We had taken a few pictures as evidence which included a ride which was wrecked, footprints of someone running deeper into the house and other complicated footprints and handprints on the walls but there was no telling of what had happened. It was already a few minutes before nine o'clock and Eddie and I had arrived at his house an hour earlier. I was getting set to leave but before I did I made a coffee for him as I carried it out to the sitting room. He was still seated on the sofa chair in the same posture with his palm wrapped together, the pictures we took were on the table before him and he was lost in his thoughts."
MARCUS P.O.V Some minutes later we all sat to hear what had happened to her and the young man who said his name was Tyler. She explained how some people had seized her after they made it into the haunted house and how when she awoke, she found herself in a building but I knew she was hiding part of the details."Who captured you because from our research most of your friends must have been a part of this conspiracy," One of the reporters asked her.Alicia sprained her eyebrows as she told them that she never saw their faces. "The lights went off and all I knew was that some people were after me but I couldn't tell who they were," She said."And where were your other friends?" The reporter asked."I had no idea," she shook her head abruptly. "One moment Tyler was with me and the next he wasn't there and when I had called out to the others none of them were anywhere around," She answered."So what you are saying is that your friends were also victims to this crime and not suspects?" Th
MARCUS P.O.VThat noon I walked the street like a complete wanderer. It was almost like my father's curse was walking on me. I was both a lone wolf and without a home however i wasn't totally hopeless,I had a goal and that was to keep my mate safe and prove my parents wrong about their decision to drive me away and I am grateful that I met a few loving folk which I can't classify as family since they don't have a clue about my cruel werewolf side.By eight p.m. that day I walked into a club house. I don't know why I was there because I hated the noise but I just needed something to distract me from the tragic feeling of disappointing my pack. The music was loud and many people were dancing under the different colours of light flickering at the centre while I walked down to a counter where drinks were being served."Hello," I said to have the attention of an Irish skin coloured lady who just finished attending to a customer and she lifted her gaze to me but lingered.I had no clue the
MARCUS P.O.V My eyes were still dizzy the next time I realized myself but this time I could feel that i was no longer in the loud and noisy club hall rather I was on a bed.I tried to move my arms but they were weak. My head was resting on a soft pillow and my eyes staring directly at the blue bulb on the ceiling and finally I heard the sound of the door.I couldn't move but I managed to push my eyes to the entrance and there under the shady light I saw someone walk in closing the door gently I looked away again and I heard the sound of the door lock. It's even worse now because whoever it is was only setting a trap for herself, she was planning her own death at every reckless step she made.I might be weak for now but only the moon king knows what will happen to her if she touches my body. Still in my thoughts I felt the weight of someone on the bed as I looked sideways, I recognised it was a lady but I still wasn't sure which one since my sight was blurry.Seated by my side she to
