I watched as Jackson shook his head, picked up a pen, wrote on the paper and handed it back to Ayla. Ayla then walked right back to my office and handed the paper to me. Dinner had gone smoothly. It was only Ayla, Logan, Jensen and me. Jackson didn’t make it down to dinner. Logan just took him some food back to his office and seemed to just blow off the questions about what he was up to. I don’t remember getting back to the house. I must have fallen asleep while Jackson was still carrying me. I woke up alone in my bed, dressed in short pajamas and a matching tank top. When I finally woke up from my nap with Jackson, I was shocked to find out it was early the next morning and I had slept another night away.
