I don’t remember getting back to the house. I must have fallen asleep while Jackson was still carrying me. I woke up alone in my bed, dressed in short pajamas and a matching tank top. When I finally woke up from my nap with Jackson, I was shocked to find out it was early the next morning and I had slept another night away. I had laid in my bed long enough. It had to be close to two in the morning or maybe even later. I was bored so I decided to get up and tip toe downstairs for a snack. The next week went by pretty smoothly. I liked that I saw less of Tsubaki since she had been banned from the Alpha’s floor, though Jackson still wouldn’t budge on telling me who was in the Luna’s chamber. I caught him leaving a couple of times and every time I checked the door was always locked. In the house, everything was in perfect condition. Jen ran the housekeepers with an iron fist and our head cook, Margo, was amazing. The food was probably the best I have eaten in quite a long time. “We’re here.” I opened my eyes at the sound of Jackson’s voice. I somehow managed to move in my sleep and was all over him. The rest of the party went smoothly. Liam and Ayla vanished shortly after Liam returned to the party. I was happy for them. I already loved Ayla like my own sister and Liam and I have been friends all of our lives. Since I had overslept, I was alone in the dining room picking at the food Margo had brought me.
