Under New Management

When we made it to the stairs, I could already hear the chatter coming from the dining hall. The place must have been packed. Jackson held me back and motioned for the others to go ahead. Once they were out of sight, he turned and looked at me. “Some wolves blindly follow their Alpha.” He explained and I nodded. “Promise me that you will never follow me blindly, if I make a decision that you don’t agree with, don't be afraid to challenge me, or dig for more information.” He said then started to walk again.

I didn’t move, he stopped and looked back at me. “I already do that, and often you tell me not to worry about it. Like this morning outside the Luna’s chambers.”, I informed him.
