The strife of Alphas

Nina wasn't given enough time to think about Ezra's confession as he suddenly carried her and placed her on the bed. But still, she felt her stomach flutter, and her heart did a little dance. Somehow his confession made all her doubts disappear. She knew that he wasn't too expressive of his feelings, so it made it even more special. Perhaps he had fallen so deeply.

He lay beside her, pulling her to himself. He stared at her quietly, taking time to study all her facial features. This was something he does often, but this time, he didn't try to be subtle at all. It was as if he wanted her to see him looking at her. She blushed and turned away from him.

"You are beautiful." She turned to him again.

"You are gorgeous."

Ezra smirked. He then narrowed his gaze at her, lowering his eyes to her bossom, and back to her face. "I would have loved to be all over you right now, baby girl. But I know that you need some rest after all you have been through today. You should sleep."

"You too Ezra. I
