Ok how can they be stabbed in the heart and heal but not when bitten a chunk out of? Like I get muscle can’t be healed like but a heart is a vital component to living so what?

why wasn't this book written in the 3rd person perspective from the beginning, which would have given use a 360 view of the whole story... instead, here we are jumping from one POV to the next......
