MasukThree - What Happened To You?
Debra could feel the blazing stares in their eyes shooting at her back, but her eyes dared not leave her plate. “Who knows if she had seduced the king with her damn body?” The second maiden sneered underneath her teeth, jealousy creeping across her face. “Brandon!” Alpha called out, reaching for the napkin as wiped off his lips, and threw it angrily on the table. “Yes, Alpha!” Brandon replied. “Have their tongues cut off so they never gossip again,” he ordered, picking back his fork, taking a stake of meat into his mouth. The maidens crashed to their knees, “Please…!” “Please spare them,” Debra pleaded, abruptly cutting off the maidens' utterances. The king stared in bafflement, utterly amazed by her words, “Fine!” he spouted, pushing away his meal, swiftly rising to his feet. His feet clacked on the tiles as he walked away from the dining room, his aura excuding dominance. ******At The Fangor's Council Meeting Room***** “My king, this is absurd!” Alpha Levi spouted, slamming his hands at the table in fury. “If I were you, I would watch my tongue so you don't get the king angry!” Alpha Wayne warned in a whispering tone. “A wolfless girl as the King's Shadow?” Alpha Levi questioned, his anger boiling. “How on earth will she protect you?” Alpha Hugo blurted, concern evident in his voice. In the laws of the Silvermoon Pack, the strongest, fastest, bravest are appointed as the King's Shadow. But as the rumors spread through the walls of the King's residence that a wolfless girl is the King's Shadow, all hell went loose instantly. “A wolfless girl can't be and will never be…..” Before Alpha Levi could finish his utterance, in a daze, his breath was slowly slipping away from him. His feet barely touched the ground, dangling helplessly in the air as he struggled for breath. “Say that again?” The Alpha King threatened, squeezing his throat, his eyes blood shot. “My… Ki… King, she can't protect you,” Alpha Levi managed to say. Alpha King Steven quickly flipped him like a weak potato at the wall. Hot crimson liquid rolled from Alpha Levi's head and ears. “Now listen!” Alpha King Steven boiled, slamming his hand against the table, creating a hole in it. “My Rules! My Order!” his voice raged. “My command! You must obey!” His wolf voice, Geo, echoed almost at the blink of surfacing. “She stays as the King's Shadow, and that final!” He spat, his face tugged with dread, his voice filled with terror, dread rushed down Fangor's, the room hushed with silence. “We are sorry, my King?” Alpha Wayne apologized. Alpha King Steven swiftly averted his step away from the long Maroon table, heading to the towering brown door. He had other pressing matters than chit chat with his Fangor's on who is his Shadow or not. Suddenly, he paused at a step, spun around with his finger raised as if he had just remembered something. “And one more thing,” he said, walking back to the table, his face tinged with seriousness. “If any of you try going to her behind my back to harm her! If I dare see a scratch on her skin, know that you have committed treason against your king!” He warned, his voice firm and terrifyingly stern. “As for the preparation for the festival, discuss the details with my beta,” he spat out, slamming the door behind him. ******At the King's Study***** “My Alpha, this is the arrangement for the Festival of Moon,” Beta Brandon uttered, gently passing the book across the table. Squeak!! The door opened as the Alpha King sarcastically darted his gaze to the door, Debra walking in with a maid, holding a tray of teacup and teapot. She swiftly retrieved it from the maid, gently set it down on the table, “Halt!” The king blurted calmly, “You may leave,” He said to the maid, waving his hand undemurely at her. “You pour me the tea,” he said, his eyes glued on the list before him. Debra's hands vibrated like she was in shock as she poured the tea into the cup. Anxiety curled up in her, mistakenly splashing the hot tea on Alpha King. “Are you Sick?” The Alpha King asked, his voice coarse, slamming the list he held on the table. “No, my King!” Debra replied, her voice weak and faint. Three weeks of working as the King's shadow, but Debra's feet always went chill whenever she saw Alpha Steven. The fear of losing her head, and him losing himself and trying to kill her again, gripped her thoughts. “Get me another shirt?” he said in a domineering tone, his voice sending chills down Debra's spine, who quickly ran to the closet, got a white shirt, and returned. Alpha King Steven rose to his feet. “Take it off!” he said, spreading his hand for Debra to unlock the buttons. As Debra raised her hand to unbutton, his sharp, eagle-like eyes cut the deep red cut on her palm, noticing how much she tried to hide it from him. “What happened to you?” he quickly grabbed her wrist. “Who did this?” He asked, his face flaring with rage and concern. “I….I hurt myself,” She managed to say, her heart pounding in fear. “The tray slipped out of my hand earlier; as I tried to pick up the pieces, it slit my hand,” Debra explained. Alpha King's rage melted away, seeing the fear that curled up on Debra. ‘She is really wolfless, she can't even heal herself from this little cut,’ he muttered to himself, his eyes glued on her. “Come here!!” He said in a soft tone that made Debra stare at him differently in astonishment. “Sit down, here,” he said. “Get me the first aid box, Brandon,” He said, holding her hand carefully. “Here, my king,” Brandon replied, placing the first aid box by the table and gently opening it. Debra quickly tried to withdraw her hand, but the Alpha King's grip was firm on her wrist, like he knew she was going to do that. The Alpha King quickly grabbed the cotton wool, applied some ointment on it, and placed it over her wound. “Ishhhhh!” Debra wheezed in pain, with her eyes closed. She noticed a soft, tender air brush against her wound, opening her eyes to find the Alpha King blowing soft air on her palm as he placed the ointment.Five - The Insincere 'Can I Be Your Friend’“You are always weak! The weak wolf should hide themselves,” Alpha Hugo blurted, his tone laced with no emotion.“Father!” Jewel called for the umpteenth time, glaring at her father for the embarrassment, as her eyes swept around the preying stare that pierced from behind in the hall, back at Madison, whose fists were clenched and aggravation swelling through her. Without a word, Madison's feet chugged aggressively on the black tiles, running off.“Maddy, wait!” Jewel shouted, running after her.*************“My king, I think you should stay away from Madison,” Brandon warned, his voice contorted with seriousness.Alpha King Steven tilted his head, stealing a glance at him with a raised brow, eyebrows furrowed with surprise. Not muttering a word, swiftly narrowed his eyes back to his wrist, gently unlocking the wristwatch.“Why?” He asked gently, not looking back.“I can't really explain, my king, but I sense this dark energy around her, l
Four - Be On Your Best Behavior“Does it still hurt?” he asked in a caring voice that made Debra's heart skip a beat.“As the King's Shadow, you must make sure not to hurt yourself,” he enunciated, his voice tempting as he tenderly wrapped the white bandage on her palm.“And if anyone hurts you, make sure to let me know,” He added, raising his face to meet her gaze, boring into his eyes as her heart pounded profusely against her chest as though it will explode.‘What's going on with me?’ She mumbled to herself, her hand laced over her chest.“Are you trying to seduce me?” She bluntly asked, her face filled with bewilderment.******The Festival Of Moon******The hall dazzled with a long table filled with different well prepared meals and expensive drinks that lined up in the table. Maidens dressed in different colors of dress that shimmered sparks under the yellow-white light in the hall. The Fangors stepped in with their family into the hall, gently nodding to soothing music that fill

Two- The King's Shadow “Alpha!” Debra screamed, opening her eyes. Her eyes instantly locked on the Alpha King's dilated white eyes. His eyes shifted back to normal, the dark veins that crept around his arm vanished in a daze. His face tugged with curiosity, staring intently at Debra. “Who are you?” the Alpha King asked, slowly loosening his grip from her throat, turning away from her to grab his shirt.Abruptly, his eyes rolled back, dilating to white, with fury, he narrowed his eyes back at Debra. This time he gripped her shoulder tightly.“Ahhhhh,” Debra winced in pain, her back pressed against the wall, pain rushing through her body.“Alpha!!” She screamed, staring intently into his completely white eyes, fear shivered through her bloodstream. His eyes swiftly rolled back to normal, and his black pupils appeared.‘Did she just make me regain myself?’ He thought to himself, loosening his grip on her shoulder but not letting go as he locked his eyes with hers.‘Is she the one I was
One- The Encounter.Thud!!The bag of fruit Debra held slipped from her hands, crashing to the floor. Her feet moved hastily on the shimmering white hospital floor, towards the sick bed her father lay on.“Dad!” She cried out softly, holding his hands, as he coughed out thick, clotted blood on the white cloth he had over his mouth.“I'm calling the doctors now!” Debra squeaked, quickly rose to her feet to run to the nurse’s counter, abruptly she felt a strong pull on her wrist stopping her.“No need, Debra. I feel my time here is all up!” Jeffrey managed to say, his voice low and cold.Debra’s feet went cold as fear rushed through her. Her eyes welled up with tears that rolled down her cheek in a straight line. She quickly leaned over, embracing her father. Her arms wrapped over him tightly, raucously muttering prayers in her mind to the Moon Goddess for some miraculous help.“Come on, my little princess shouldn't be crying,” Jeffrey's hands reached for the strands of hair over her fa
