Chapter 28

DIANA

“Diana!!” That was the last thing I heard before I yielded to the darkness calling to me. My eyes faintly opened to the wooden ceilings. The room was dark and small but it was dimly illuminated by a lantern on the shelf by the corner of the room. I turned and the small bed creaked. I frowned wondering how I had gotten here in the first place. The last thing I remembered was feeding Michael my blood to save him. I thought only a few drops would have been able to save him but who knew it required more to save him from the brink of death? I sat up on the bed, inspecting the room. There was nothing in the room besides the bed and shelf. There were two scents lingering outside, Michael and Aaron.

I gulped down my saliva wondering if Michael survived but that thought tousled the moment I heard footsteps coming towards the wooden door. It creaked open slowly and my breaths ceased for a split moment seeing Michael saunter into the room.
