As Alpha Kael returned home, his grandmother awaited him with urgency. She had intended to discuss the unfair contract he had signed, but before she could, the news exploded with a scandalous headline: Alpha Kael had forcefully assulted a young wolf, killing her and disposing of her body. The accusations were false, but the rival's manipulative words fueled the outrage.

Kael's grandmother wept bitterly, consoled by his mother Rachel, as the family gathered around the TV in disbelief. Just then, Kael entered with his brother Jackson and friend Kieran. The scene outside quickly escalated as a mob gathered, demanding the Alpha's resignation or a public denial of the allegations with proof.

Kael's grandmother rushed to his side, her eyes pleading. "Kael, my child, what do we do now?"

"I'll sort this out, Grandmother," he replied, his voice firm but his eyes betraying his turmoil.

"By sorting it out, do you mean the contract with Aurora?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

Kael hesitated, then nodded. "Yes, Grandmother."

His grandmother's expression turned resolute. "No.., i won't let you ruin Aurora's life or yours, and that of the unborn pups. There must be another way."

But Kael stood firm. "I've made my decision, Grandmother."

As he turned to leave, his grandmother's face contorted in shock, and she clutched her chest, collapsing from a heart attack. The room fell silent, the only sound was her labored breathing.

As Kael's grandmother collapsed, the Alpha's household plunged into chaos. The family rushed to her side, their faces etched with worry and fear. They hastily loaded her into the car, the guards struggling to maintain order as the crowd outside grew more hostile. The hospital was a blur of confusion and gossip, the staff and patients alike whispering condemning words about the Alpha. Kael's heart raced with anxiety, his mind reeling with the thought of losing the one person who had always been there for him.

The next two days were a never-ending nightmare. Kael's grandmother remained unconscious, her condition stubbornly unresponsive to treatment. The outside world grew increasingly convinced of Kael's guilt, his absence from meetings and state affairs fueling the fire of speculation. The pack's loyalty began to waver, and Kael's reputation teetered on the brink of collapse. His family's honor, once a beacon of pride, was now tarnished by the scandal.

Kael's desperation grew with each passing moment. He spent every waking hour by his grandmother's side, begging her to wake up, to forgive him for his mistakes. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her, not now, not ever. The doctor's words offered little comfort, their dire prognosis echoing in Kael's mind like a death knell. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of despair, unable to find a lifeline to cling to.

The doctor's words were a harsh reality check. "Her condition is critical, Kael. Whatever triggered her collapse has had a devastating impact. Only the moon goddess's intervention can save her now... or else." The doctor's eyes conveyed the gravity of the situation, yet he offered a glimmer of hope. "I'll do everything in my power to help her, Kael. I promise." Kael clung to that promise, his heart heavy with grief, his spirit refusing to surrender. He would do whatever it took to save his grandmother, to restore his family's honor, and to prove his innocence to the world.

Kael entered his grandmother's hospital room, his eyes brimming with tears. He asked the family to leave, and as they filed out, he knelt beside her bed, overcome with grief.

"Grandmother, please don't leave me," he begged, his voice cracking. "I can't do this without you. I was so wrong to betray your trust. I swear on my honor as Alpha, I'll do whatever it takes to clear our family's name. Just please, please wake up please."

His grandmother's eyes fluttered open, her gaze weak but filled with love. "Kael, my child," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "What would the people think if they saw the Alpha weeping like a ten year old child whose candy was taken away?"

Kael's tears halted momentarily as he looked up at her, a small smile on his face. "They'd think I'm a worthy successor to your legacy," he replied, his voice still shaking. Together, they shared a weak laugh and Kael embraced her warmly, holding her close as if he'd never let her go. The tension in the room dissipated, replaced by a sense of hope and renewal. "You taught me that strength doesn't mean hiding emotions, but facing them head-on."

His grandmother's eyes fluttered closed, and Kael's heart skipped a beat. But then, she spoke again, her voice slightly stronger. "You're right, Kael. And i'm proud of you, But you must also learn to forgive yourself for all that has happened because we all make mistakes.

Kael nodded, his tears resuming. "I will, Grandmother, he said as he kissed the back of her palm. I promise. Just please, don't leave me yet. I need you."

His grandmother's hand weakly patted his cheek. "I'll stay, Kael. For you my grandson."

As they embraced, Kael felt a sense of relief wash over him. His grandmother was going to be okay, and with his family by his side, he could face anything.

The next day, the doctors gave the thumbs up for Kael's grandmother to return home. As they settled into the living room, the TV flickered back to life, broadcasting the same accusatory news. Kael's family hastily turned it off, but not before the damage was done. His grandmother's eyes locked onto his, her gaze steady.

"Kael my dear child, we can't keep running away from the problem. We must face it head-on". She said looking at Alpha kael with a mixture of love and concern in her eyes. "And we can start by tearing up the contract and making amends with Aurora," she said, her voice firm but gentle.

Kael's eyes widened in disbelief. "But Grandmother, I promised to take care of her, give to her all that she asks of me and to erase all memories. How can I just—" he said as he sighed.

His grandmother's expression turned stern. "As tempting as that offer sounds kael, no wealth or power can comfort a grieving mother who would loose her pups forever. It's an unfair contract to Aurora and your child.

" What would you have me do, grandmother?" Kael said in grieve.

His grandmother hesitated, then spoke quickly, "You gave me your word as Alpha, Kael. I need you to swear an oath on my life that you'll do as i ask of you."

"I give you my word grandmother, that I'll do whatever you ask as long as it is within my power as Alpha.

His grandmother's eyes narrowed, her voice firm. "Then marry Aurora."

The room fell silent, eyes wide with shock and disbelief. Kael's jaw dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "What!?"

The room exhaled collectively, a mix of shock and awe hanging in the air. Kael's family watched, their eyes filled with questions and worries.

Kael rose to his feet, his eyes wide in disbelief. "Grandmother, how can you ask this of me? It's not fair. What about my union with Valtira? Should I simply discard my feelings for her? What about the life we've built together? You can't mean this, Grandmother. I can't abandon the woman I love for someone I don't. No!"

Kael's grandmother approached him, her eyes filled with a deep sadness. "My child, I know this is hard, but you have to make a choice, you have to choose between your heart and your honor. I'm asking you to choose between your duty and all that matters. You are meant to be a great leader, Kael.

Kael's voice shook. "But Grandmother, I love Valtira. I can't just leave her."

His grandmother's expression remained resolute. "Nobody is happy now, Kael. But by making the right choice, you can still find happiness. Don't cling to a union that's rooted in pain. You gave me your word, and you're bound to me by an oath. Please, Kael, don't destroy your own happiness and that of your child. Think of Aurora, think of your family's reputation and think about the future of this pack."

"Grandmother, please. Don't make me choose between my heart and my honor, they has to be another way". "I wish they was kael, his grandmother added quickly .His eyes welled up with pain, his soul torn apart by the impossible decision before him. Would he step down as Alpha for the sake of his love for Valtira or would he step up as Alpha and make things right with Aurora? But still, they really is no guarantee that things would get better no matter what he chooses.

Gabriel exclaimed, his tone dripping with enthusiasm. "You've grown so much bigger, taller, and you've become a man, just like your father." Aiden's eyes burned with anger, his voice laced with fury. "I am nothing like you, Gabriel Norman," he spat. Gabriel chuckled, the sound sending shivers down the spine. "You are nothing like me, eh?" he repeated, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Well, from what I hear, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Whether you like it or not, my blood runs through your veins. I remember saying the same thing to my dad to you know, I said I was nothing like him but I think he was nothing like me right now." Ryder's eyes locked onto Sophia's, filled with understanding. "You're scared," he said softly. Sophia's voice trembled. "Yes, yes i am. This was a carefully planned kidnapping. Whoever did this wants something specific, something they know we have. Let's just wait for him to call and see what he wants." Beatrice nodded in agreement, her eyes filled with empathy. "If you're right," she said gently, "and we handle this carefully, we'll get them back safely." Sophia's eyes welled up with tears as Beatrice's words offered a glimmer of hope. Aunt Beatrice, who was sitting nearby, chimed in, "Dinner might be ready soon, dear. You should join us before Allen tires you out with work." Daphne smiled and thanked her, "Thank you Aunt Beatrice. I'll go help Sophia out in the kitchen." As Daphne headed towards the kitchen, Allen's gaze followed her, his expression softening for a moment before he refocused on the report. As Daphne walked into the kitchen, Sophia greeted her with a big smile. "Hey, Daph! I'm glad you're here." "Hey, Sophie! How can I help?" Daphne asked, looking around the kitchen.
