As usual, the guys hijacked our relaxing day by the pool. I looked over my shoulder when I heard the back door open, expecting to see Claire walking out with drinks but nope. Out walked Carter and Max, each gripping a handle on the ice chest, followed by the rest of the guys. I just rolled my eyes and resumed my sunbathing. It was the perfect day for this, plus we all needed this. With all the shit going on, I knew that days like this were going to be few.

“You are blocking my sun.” I grumbled.

“Sorry angel but I thought you might like a large glass of ice tea.” Brayden says.

I cracked one of my eyes open to see him standing there with a large tumbler full of iced tea. I smiled at him and took the tumbler from him. He sat down on the lounge chair next to mine.
