Chapter 52: I need to see the alpha
I've been so wrapped up within the sheet as if it was my own small world away from everyone, I didn't realize that I was fast asleep, that is it until I felt my mom shaking my body wakening me up.
My eyes open and I slowly removed the sheet from my head. I pull it down to my neck holding it tightly to my body.
"Nala," my mom calls me worried as she sat beside me. "You've been sleeping all day that its now dark outside."
I sat up immediately hearing what she had said and look towards my bedroom window to see if it was true. I was disappointed that I couldn't see outside nor did the curtain allow me to see the moonlight.
"You've must be hungry," I felt my mom's hand against my head deeply worried by me
My head turns away from the window and back to her.
"I am," I answer her softly.
I truly was. I skip breakfast because I was nervous about approaching the alpha with my change of his agreement. I too missed out on lunch. I was starving.
