As the Alphas dispersed to check on their pack members' families, Aeliana appeared at my side.

"That was tense."

"Rowan's going to be a problem."

"All of them are going to be problems if they find out about Marcus and Vera." She kept her voice low. "How long before someone figures it out?"

"Hopefully long enough that we've dealt with Annalise first." I rubbed my face, exhaustion pulling at me. "One crisis at a time."

"Come on. You need rest before they all demand more meetings tonight."
