JENNY’S POV

Nurse Aria was finally done examining my leg and I was beyond relieved when she said it wasn’t too serious and won’t take too long to heal if I didn’t put any pressure on it all. So she applied some ointment to the spot and told me I would have to use a crutch for the period the ankle would take to heal. It was for my own good so I understood and agreed without doubting her solution. All I wanted was for the ankle to get all healed up then I would find my way to wherever I was going to be headed too after sharing my thanks to alpha Dammon.

He was all nice and kind to me and I admired that he had such a kind and considerate heart when most people would never help me how he did, but everything has its limits and I knew that my stay in his palace would be limited too. He was soon going to have me leave, saying he had done his share in saving me from whoever was after me so I had to find my way on my own.     CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FOURJENNY’S POVNo one else came after the guard left which meant our plan worked and our secret was still safe. So it was just me and Rita throughout the night. Rita and Sam were deep in a conversation with each other as they ate while I munched away on my food in silence and suddenly, Sam shot up to his feet and I looked up at him. He looked like he was on alert and I wondered if something was wrong. “Sam, what is it?” Rita asked him while she remained seated and she looked confused too.     ALPHA DAMON’S POVI rushed toward the main doors to the palace along with Darwin and Sylvia to see the woman whom I had never seen before but claimed she knew exactly where Jenny and Rita were in the PISTAN pack. The guards opened the door for us and the brightness from outside flooded the hall where we stood and waited for her to come to us.I watched her closely to see her body language so I could know if she was telling the truth or if she was doing this for attention only. She couldn’t meet us in the eyes and she looked scared. She had little tear cuts on her face and her hair was all over the place. I looked at her feet and they were rough too. Her footwear was almost destroyed and she had deep cuts on her bloodied toes.     RITA’S POVWe were still locked up in the new room that Alpha Baron took us to and Jenny was sitting in a corner of the room on the floor. I knew she was famished because I felt the same way I wondered if Sam was going to bring us dinner again. I wondered if he was even safe after helping Kira escape and I wondered if she had gotten to the pack already.It had been a day since she left and for the first time, alpha Baron didn’t come for us to torture us like he always did every morning. No guard came too so we were all alone throughout the day which was also the cause of the terrible hunger we were feeling. We had tried all that we could and no one was willing to help us get any information on Jenny and Rita because they all claimed they didn’t want to get on the Lycan king’s bad side. I had to do this myself and the only way was to use force.
