Chapter 12

Moore led Estelle to the café situated near the forests at the back. They passed by a few buildings and the medical office. There was even another library. From what she could glimpse from one of the buildings, she could see several apparel stores and a provision shop. How did they get the items here? She remembered Moore telling her that not anyone could see their territory. She doesn't remember seeing any supply vehicles, there aren’t even any around here. She voiced her question to him.

“Sometimes, when a pack member goes out into the city, they stock up on what is needed. The items are shipped to the opposite side of the river which is then transported over to our side by a small boat. Our men carry the items into this place.” He explained. A Were pup who was hanging on a tree caught his eye and waved at him. Moore waved back and continued, “But usually, we do trades.” He said. They reached the café and he held the door open for her to enter.

“Trades? With who?” Estelle asks. They
