There was a time, before I was Alpha, when a stranger arrived in our territory. The pack was wary of this stranger, as we had never seen their kind before. The stranger was a wolf, but they were unlike any wolf we had ever seen. They were small and frail, and their fur was a strange shade of gray. They approached us slowly, their eyes wide with fear.

We gathered around the stranger, our hackles raised and our teeth bared. But the stranger did not attack, instead they held out their paw in a gesture of peace. We were unsure of what to do, so we turned to me for guidance. I approached the stranger, my curiosity outweighing my caution. I sniffed at their paw, and they did not flinch. I then sat down, still keeping my guard up, and gestured for them to speak.

The stranger began to speak, their voice trembling with fear. They told us that they had been cast out of their pack, and that they were seeking a new home. They told us of their journey, of the dangers they had faced an
