Alexa's POV...

Since the day that I appeared before the council, my relationship with Logan had become quite strained. The first difference I noticed in him was his not returning to bed on time, and some nights, he did not come to my bedroom. Selena told me not to worry that he would come around. Frankly, I was not worried about his coming around; I was more concerned with how I would prove my innocence to the council and take the pack out of danger.

For the past few days, I went back to my training routine. Every morning when I woke up, I dressed up in my training attire and went to ready to go to the open field and train with Selena. There was one thing that the attack had taught me, it was to be prepared at every instance.
