Chapter 9- Enchanting
"I'm 18 today!" I say out loud before opening my eyes to come face to face with our luna, Darlene and Damian who promised to stay as long as I needed him to.
I quickly sit up, looking around the room for Damian and hoping he would tell me why his mother was in my room watching me sleep.
"Oh he is not here. He had to go and he asked me to stay with you." Darlene says to me.
"Why did he leave? Does he have any idea what today is for me?" I ask and she nods her head.
"Honey, you're in heat. The scent was going to drive him crazy so he had to go. I'm here now and a bunch of other ladies are coming over to stay with you. Doug has arranged for mated wolves to guard the house too." She tells me.
